The first entry in our Coffee with a Cause Campaign. We are using the women produced green coffee beans as the primary beans for this blend. Helping support women owned producers like these encourages more women to get into the coffee growing business.
We want our Coffee with a Cause Campaign to help support our local community, so we're donating 12% of the proceeds from the sale of this blend to local women based charitable organizations in community of Door County, Wisconsin.
Why 12%? 12% is the moisture level that green coffee beans are typically dried to to prepare them for packaging and shipping around the world. Our hope is that this is just the beginning of our blends of Coffee with a Cause Campaign, with new local charitable causes being supported and thus giving back to our community in a meaningful way.
