Description
A big name for a big coffee!
Microlot coffees refer to a process where growers identify the very best plants on their farms and harvest those beans separately. These higher quality beans are kept separate through the processing and packaging steps, resulting in an exclusive, superior crop!
Honey process is a method in which the fresh coffee cherries are de-pulped, but allowed to dry without washing. Some of the fruit is still there, but not nearly as much as in the natural process. Most of the cherry is gone, but the remaining golden, sticky mucilage is reminiscent of honey, which is where the process gets it name.
Put them together and you have an incredible, rich, full roasted bean from Flor del Café farm in Costa Rica where the Barrantes family have been growing coffee beans for three generations.
